Ronaldo to come out of retirement?

If reports in US are to be believed then all the football fans are in for a pleasant surprise. Legendary Brazilian Ronaldo de Nazario Lima aka Ronaldo is on the verge of making a comeback to professional football.

Ronaldo has acquired majority stake in NASL club Fort Lauderdale. NASL is acronym for North American Soccer League which is second division of football league structure. Ronaldo has ignited fans’ interest y admitting that he may return to the football pitch once again.

Asked whether he would play, Ronaldo responded in English and said "that is not easy."

"I love to play," he said. "That was my big love. But when I retired, it was because of my body. I had so much pain and so many injuries. It isn't easy to get fit. I will try. I will train a lot."

Now this is a glimmer of hope for the fans of the striker who had mesmerized one and all during his heydays. El Phenomeno had won the world player of the year in 1996, 1997 and 2002. He is now 38 and it is very difficult for him to play football on regular basis.

Even if the legend will do a couple of cameo appearances it will help both the club and the league on the whole. If at all he returns on the field, we will be first ones to watch the legend return for one last hurrah!
