In a view to force the move, Marcos Rojo was ill advised by his agent and the third party owners, which led to the Argentinian facing disciplinary charges and a row broke out over Rojo’s ownership rights between Doyen Sports and the Portuguese club.
Marcos later publicly apologised live on the clubs in house TV channel saying “I was hot headed and I’m sorry”.
“I’ll be back with the rest of the squad tomorrow”
On Manchester United Move:
Rojo was quoted saying: "It's a dream to play at Manchester United and I am very proud of having the chance of working with [Louis] van Gaal,"
Rojo has also consulted with former Argentinian midfield legend Sebastian Veron:
"I spoke with Juan Sebastian Veron about Manchester United when we were at Estudiantes," Rojo said.
"I have always liked English football, and I should adapt to this new playing style easily."
All in all, Rojo seems set on the move to Manchester United.
