Chelsea edged past Manchester United thanks to the moment of brilliance of Oscar and Eden Hazard in the first half. United dominated every aspect of the game but failed to get past a stubborn Chelsea defense. The win puts Chelsea inches closer to the league crown.

Chelsea started the game with a defensive mindset and was happy to let their visitors dictate the play. United played along the expected lines looked more convincing in the middle of the park with Rooney and Herrera combo working their magic. Radamel Falcao once again failed to impress Old Trafford faithful and was a big letdown as he failed to grab a couple of really golden opportunities.

Eden Hazard once again rose to the occasion as he scored the only goal of the match on a superb counter which was he himself created. Oscar’s backheel set him up nicely and the Belgian made no mistake as he slid the ball into the back of the net between De Gea’s legs.

This was probably one of the best performance by United but they were very unlucky to not get anything out of this match. United stay in third four points ahead of Man City who play West Ham tomorrow.
