Southampton: top transfer targets

The Saints are having a dream run this season till now and they will surely look to compete for a European spot. The Southampton squad lacks depth and thus they need a few reinforcements if they wish to sustain this charge till May.

Top targets of Saints –

1. Bruno Martins Indi –

A favorite of Ronald Koeman, the Dutch defender will surely look to get his prodigy back with him. Their defense is already fragile and will surely look to bolster it.

2. Ryan Bertrand –

Chelsea loanee has been immense for them this season. A permanent deal would be a good investment.

3. Ejero Elia –

The Saints want this talented Werder Bremen winger on loan this winter and could well sign him at the end of summer. Wih their frontline widemen out with injuries he will be immense to their squad.

4. Toby Alderweireld –

Atleti loanee has adjusted seamlessly with south coast side. He will be a very good addition to Saints defense on a permanent basis.

5. Wesley Sneijder –

A coup de grace and a long shot for the Saints but will be their marquee signing. As they say, never say never.
