Manchester United plot cut price January move for Aston Villa defender Ron Vlaar

Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal plots a move for his country man Ron Vlaar as he looks to for a solution to his sides defensive problems.

Ron Vlaar who is on the final year of is Aston Villa contract is one of the very few bright stars in dim start to the season. With no goals scored in the month of October, the Villains had to cancel the goal of the month competition as Paul Lambert is struggling to get his side playing a good brand of football.

Manchester United on the other hand, are facing serious questions about their lapses in defense. Quite a few injuries have hit Louis Van Gaal's side especially in defense.

Aston Villa who don't want to sell Vlaar, have put a new bumper contract to Vlaar, but with Man United lurking the Dutch defender has till now refused to sign a new contract.
